In terms of reliability, the Vow of the Disciple Raid for Destiny 2 has proven to be a bit of a mess. It has been discovered that not one but two bosses have been data-mined, as well as the weaponry, which have made an appearance online. Now, though, we might be seeing what seems to be one of the most significant spoilers of all — photos from the Raid completion sequence, which is generally reserved for the great Guardians who triumph over the threat of the Raid.
We’ve included two shots from the final sequence of the Vow of the Disciple raid in the gallery below. So, as is often the case, this is your last opportunity to turn aside and prevent any spoilers before the show begins.
Vow of the Disciple Raid boost, boosting and carries of the end cutscene images
Upon closer inspection of the photographs, it seems to depict a Scorn-like monster both entering the planet and engaging in combat with a group of Guardians. This will most likely happen shortly after you beat it in combat, and there will be follow-up visuals to illustrate what occurs beyond that point.
Raulk, the first Disciple, and the last monster of the Raid itself have been said to be the name of this terrifying person, according to certain reports. This is consistent with all of the narrative beats we’ve received so far, and it definitely corresponds with the complete 3D generated picture that we previously reported on as well.
While there have been reports of a complete end sequence from Vow of the Disciple hitting the rounds, we haven’t been able to confirm this at the time of writing. Although these photographs have been obtained, they include significant spoilers, particularly if you’re an avid loremonger and are aware of what this towering beast represents in terms of the story’s progression.
Given that the whole Raid is set to be released in less than a week, we’ll be able to gain more clarity on everything soon enough. In the meanwhile, we can all speculate on how beating Raulk will have more ramifications in the future Lightfall expansion.
