Changes to the Crucible, Iron Banner, and Trials in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1
Crucible
It was discovered that the Crucible Submachinist medal was not being issued due to a bug.
A problem with the Unfaltering Glory Triumph victory streak not correctly resetting has been resolved.
Vostok and Eternity have been re-added to the Crucible playlists.
Iron Banner is a kind of banner made of iron.
Saladin has updated his rank description tooltip to include the Iron Engram, allowing players to better comprehend the prizes they will get after rising in rank.
Trials
At the conclusion of the match, a tiny amount of Trials reputation was awarded for each round won in that match.
The amount that is contributed rises in proportion to the number of ticket wins you have. At the very top of the rankings, each round won results in 21 Trials repute. This should increase the rate at which Trials reputation grows by around 50% on average.
Obtaining a bonus victory from Passage of Ferocity now advances Saint’s progress toward his seven-win challenge.
Ranks in Trials and Rituals
Increased Nightfall loot and double Vanguard ranks are now announced on the start screens of the different activities, including the Crucible and Trials. Double Nightfall treasure is now displayed on the Gambit and Trials opening screens.
It is now expected that rank reward engrams from all ritual merchants would decode into equipment that is more in line with your current Power level.
The Lost Sector has been altered in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1.
After completing Aphelion’s Rest Legend Lost Sector once without the reward, the Lost in the Strand bounty no longer auto-completes after starting it again with the bounty.
Corrected a problem in which the description of the Master Difficulty Concealed Void Lost Sector on Europa incorrectly said that all three shield types were present, while in fact only Arc shields were there.
At one point in time, the Legend difficulty version of the Concealed Void Lost Sector on Europa had adversaries that possessed all three forms of shields. When it comes to Legend, an exceptional Vandal has been appointed to replace the Arc-shielded Captain. When it came to Master, it had already been replaced by an Overload Champion.
The Legend and Master Lost Sectors are now the same Lost Sector each day, as opposed to the previous system.
When you interact with the totem in Legend and Master Lost Sectors, you will now be sent to the usual Director start screen, from which you may choose different difficulties.
When you draw out your Ghost, the information regarding which shields are available is now shown, along with the rest of the activity modifiers, on the Master and Legend difficulty levels.
Legend and Master difficulty bosses in the Excavation Site XII and The Quarry Lost Sectors have now been appropriately assigned to the Boss category. As a consequence, they are no longer able to be killed with finishers.
When playing on Legend or Master difficulties, the music throughout the majority of Lost Sectors has been amplified.
Excavation Site XII: Fixed a problem where the barrier at the entrance on Legend and Master difficulties had a gap, allowing players to leave the Lost Sector and enter the rest of the world.
The interactions with Veles Labyrinth have been updated in order to put this Lost Sector more in line with the others.
Fixed a problem where boss names were not showing up in the Scavenger’s Den, Excavation Site XII, and The Quarry Lost Sectors on EDZ, where they were previously shown.
Changes to the General Activity and Seasonal Challenge in Destiny 2 in the 4.0.0.1 release
Various General Activities
Rather than displaying a distinct modifier for each Champion type on most activities that include multiple Champion types, we are instead displaying a single combined activity modifier (for example, Barrier and Unstoppable as a single icon) on most activities.
Increased information has been added to the tooltips for the Champion activity modifiers, including how to get and equip anti-Champion armor modifications.
Champion icons have been added to the tooltips for the Champion activity modifiers.
On the majority of activities in Match Game, we now display an activity modifier icon to indicate the enemy shields you will be up against throughout the activity.
Seasonal Obstacles to Overcome
During weeks 1-10, the current week will open by default while participating in Seasonal Challenges.
Changes to the UI and UX in Destiny 2’s version 4.0.0.1
UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience)
The function keys F8 and F12 can no longer be assigned to keyboard inputs. There were previously assigned keybindings to these keys that have since been deactivated.
In Nav Mode, Seasonal Challenges may now be tracked and shown in the list of challenges.
In the player’s head-up display (HUD), subtitles no longer overlap with alerts that show at the bottom of the screen.
Subtitles have been set to be enabled by default for all players. Using the options menu, you may turn off subtitles entirely.
Chatting using text message
Text chat input using a physical keyboard is now supported on a broader range of systems.

destiny 2 witch queen release time 3
Changes to the game’s gameplay and investment as a result of the 4.0.0.1 release
ARMOR
Seven brand-new permanent armor modifications have been introduced to the game, including Kinetic Siphon, Harmonic Siphon, and a modification for each of the game’s four damage types.
Using these modifications, your weapons will be able to create Orbs of Power when they are socketed into your helmet mod sockets (functionality that has been deprecated from weapons).
Each of these modifications is immediately unlocked for all players and is compatible with any weapon that does the proper amount of damage.
Glaive Ammo Finder, Glaive Targeting, Glaive Loader, Glaive Dexterity, Glaive Capacity, Unflinching Glaive, Glaive Ammo Scavenger, and Glaive Holster are among the permanent armor changes that have been introduced to operate with the new Glaive weapon archetype. These modifications may be gained by opening Legendary engrams in the game world.
The cost of altering the energy type of a completely Masterworked piece of armor has been reduced by half.
Legendary armor, once Masterworked, has the ability to switch between energy kinds at a cost of 10,000 Glimmer and one Upgrade Module.
It is possible to switch between energy kinds with fully Masterworked Exotic armor, but it comes at a cost of 20,000 Glimmer and an Upgrade Module.
The Energy Converter mod may be mistakenly activated by Titans when in their Super, resulting in them using all of their Charged with Light stacks for no reward. This has been fixed.
An problem where higher-tier damage reduction might be prolonged while acquiring lower-tier damage reduction has been resolved for the time being.
The damage mitigation provided by Protective Light has been lowered to 10%.
Damage reduction from the Well of Tenacity has been raised to 50%.
Note from the developers: Protective Light was previously too prominent and seemed too much like a must-have mod to be considered optional. By swapping the damage reduction values of Protective Light and Well of Tenacity, Protective Light should no longer feel like a necessary part of every loadout, and players will be forced to choose between a smaller, but longer-lasting, amount of damage reduction on-demand when wounded (Protective Light) and a shorter-duration, but stronger, amount of damage reduction when picking up Void wells. Protective Light will be removed from the game (Well of Tenacity).
Heart of Inmost Light has been reworked to make it more consistent and readable.
Fixed a problem where Titans who hurled Sentinel Shield would lose Charged with Light stacks, which could be used to recharge abilities that could not be recharged in the middle of a Super.
In Super, Synthoceps no longer increases the damage done by Stasis Crystals, as was previously the case.
Finisher Modifications
The ability to do finishers is now available at all times, even while employing modifications that need Super energy.
It is possible that the benefit will not activate if the requisite Super energy is not accessible.
Note from the developers: With the introduction of Lucent Hive Ghosts and the need for finishers to fight them, all finisher modifications have been changed to function differently. Now, no matter what modifications you have equipped or how much Super energy you have, you will always be able to execute finishers, regardless of your current state. If you do not have the required energy, or if you do not need the advantage that the mod would provide, the benefit will not be activated, and no Super energy will be withdrawn from your account. Example: If you have the One-Two finisher equipped but have no melee energy remaining or less than one-sixth of your Super energy remaining, you will be able to execute the finisher but will not receive melee energy or be charged with Super energy as a result of the finisher.
Weapons
It was discovered that the Zealot’s Reward Fusion Rifle may be fired without consuming the appropriate amount of ammunition. This was fixed.
Bows equipped with an Explosive Head and the Anti-Barrier mod will now explode when they come into contact with an enemy.
Fixed a problem where the Whisper of the Worm ornament, Roar of the Wyrm, had a few small holes around the scope that were somewhat visible.
Global
Trackers must be eliminated.
All weapons that arrived with Forsaken and later are now equipped with this feature by default.
It is planned to upgrade the exotic weaponry from previous releases in a subsequent edition.
Ammunition with a Twist
Player deaths (or similar) now only result in the loss of one Special ammo (or equivalent), regardless of how much ammunition they were carrying (as long as they weren’t completely depleted).
The most you can get out of a Special brick is a shotgun, fusion rifle, or Sniper Rifle, or an equivalent for other weapons, which is the most you can get.
Scavenger contributes to this in the usual way.
Glitch with the Quickswap
Players were able to utilize a certain button combination to switch virtually instantaneously once a bug was fixed in the animation cancel.
Modifications to Legendary weapons are now completely free and fast.
Weapon Archetypes have been altered in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1.
Fusion Rifles are a kind of rifle that uses fusion technology.
Damage per round for high-impact Fusion Rifles has been increased from 62 to 64.
The PvE damage boost for high-impact Fusion Rifles has been increased from 15 percent to 20 percent.

1.05x is the adaptive factor.
1.05x is considered aggressive.
Sniper Rifles are a kind of rifle that is used for sniping.
Low zoom (35 zoom) and high zoom (60 zoom) Sniper Rifles now have less volatility in aim assist scaling than they had before.

The basic stability stat has been raised from 46 to 56.
The Scepter of Ager
While repressed or in Stasis encasement, it was no longer possible to initiate or continue utilizing empowered mode.
The perk has been rebuilt. Before, the perk changed the pace at which Super charges; now, it freezes Super recharging and deducts Super directly, which resolves a number of difficulties with activities that vary the rate at which Super charges as well as outliers for recharge dependent on Intellect stat.
The Story of a Dead Man
The hip-fire rate of the catalyst has been reduced from 150 RPM to 130 RPM as a result of this modification.
Lorentz Driver and Arbalest are two of the most famous people in the world.
Increased the amount of flinch received by a factor of two.
Forerunner
Increased the amount of ammunition obtained from a Special ammo block from 2 to 3 (or 4 to 5 with a Scavenger mod).
WEAPONS OF HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE
Weapon stats have been tweaked on a few older weapons.
Hand Cannons are a kind of weapon that is used to fire a projectile.
Out of band statistics for vintage 150 RPM Hand Cannons have been updated.
Dire Promise gives you an additional 4 range, 3 stability, and -4 aim help.

+1 zoom, -5 range, -7 stability, -8 handling, and -5 aim assist are all improvements over the previous model.
Note from the developers: Normally, we don’t modify weapon stats after a ship has been launched, and we don’t expect to do so on a frequent basis.
Changes to perks in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1

Damage falloff start and finish distances are been increased by 20 percent, respectively (except on Shotgun, Sniper Rifle and Fusion Rifle).
Adagio
The time has been increased from 5s to 7s.
Damage bonus has been increased from 25 percent to 30 percent (with the exception of the Bow and Fusion Rifle).

Dual Loaders are available.
The reload stat penalty has been reduced from -50 to -35.
Dangerous Area
Self-damage scalar for Grenade Launchers has been reduced. As a result of this, self-damage is reduced from 1.25x to 0.75x when combined with the other scalars.
Press the Trigger button.
Only applicable to Fusion Rifles:
The stability boost has been reduced from +40 to +10.
The maximum recoil angle scale has been changed from 0.5 to 0.875.
The error angle scale has been changed from 0.9 to 0.975.
All other weapons remain unchanged.
Edge with a glimmer of hope
While in the air, a 25 percent reduction in lunge distance provides an advantage.
While active, the maximum player airborne velocity has been limited (to a quite high number).
Headseeker
Buff duration has been increased from 0.17s to 0.3s (will now last for the full burst of an Aggressive Burst Pulse Rifle).
Ability modifications have been made in the Destiny 2 version 4.0.0.1.
Subclasses that aren’t there
Reworked to be compatible with the Subclass 3.0 system. It would be impossible to describe all of the various systemic changes that have occurred, however the Void subclasses now employ the Aspect and Fragment mechanism that was formerly used by Stasis.
Developed a series of buffs and debuffs that are associated with the Void damage type, including:
Void Overshield — A protective barrier of Void Light surrounds you, shielding you from harm. Combatants’ damage is reduced as a result of this effect.
When you use Void Invisibility, you disappear from enemy sight and do not display on hostile radar screens. Invisibility will be terminated if you commit an offensive action.
Devour — Consume the remaining energy of your slain adversaries. Kills restore your health to 100%, provide you grenade energy, and allow you to prolong Devour.
The victim suffers greater damage and has their movement speed hindered by the Void Weaken effect. Combatants who have been afflicted have difficulties shooting correctly.
Suppression — During the duration of Suppression, the target is taken out of any active abilities and is unable to activate any abilities or move in any movement modes. Combatants who have been afflicted are unable to fire their weapons.
Infected with unstable Void energy, andenergy, the victim is prone to exploding if more harm is dealt to them.
A tooltip flyout is now shown when the cursor is over Aspects, Fragments, or abilities on the subclass screen. This flyout details any applicable status effects.
The deprecation of certain old subclass perks has been implemented, while others have been incorporated into basic ability behavior, Fragments, or Aspects, with some modifications to behavior as a consequence of this.
All classes now have access to all Void grenades, which was previously only available to certain classes.
GRENADES
Vortex Grenade is a kind of explosive device.
The enemy is now drawn into the lingering damage area when the attack hits them.
The amount of damage done by lingering ticks has been lowered by 20%.
Detonation damage dealt to players has been lowered by around 50%.
The duration of the base cooldown has been raised from 105s to 121s.
Spike Grenade in the Void
The base cooldown has been decreased from 105s to 91s.
‘Voidwall Grenade’ is a kind of grenade that is used to block the passage of enemies.
Over rough ground, it now stretches to its full length with more consistency.
Explosive Spatter Grenade
The duration of a charged Scatter Grenade seeker before detonating has been enhanced, as has the tracking power of the seeker.
Because of this modification, Nothing Manacles now directly inherits the charged grenade projectile and reaps the advantages of it.
The duration of the base cooldown has been raised from 105s to 121s.
Suppressor Grenade is a kind of grenade that is used to suppress an enemy’s attack.
The suppression effect against player targets now lasts 5s, rather than the previous 10s.
Hunter adjustments in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1
NIGHTSTALKER
Shadowshot
Deadfall and Moebius Quiver are two different variations of Shadowshot that have been separated.
Deadfall is a shadowshot from the past.
Before arming, Deadfall Shadowshot now draws adjacent foes within tether range as soon as it hits the ground.
From 30 seconds to 10 seconds, the duration of the tether mark against players (the red X that is applied to tethered targets) has been lowered. When it comes to PVE warriors, nothing has changed.
The base direct impact damage has been reduced from 250 to 150 points.
Damage against fighters has been raised in order to make up for lost time.
This boost varies according on the kind and rank of combatant, although it is often much more damage than previously.
Deadfall Shadowshot has been moved to the tier 4 Super recharger tier (recharges more quickly than previous).
Moebius Quiver is a shadowshot.
Each shot now launches a barrage of three Void Arrows in a fan pattern that seek out and destroy adjacent adversaries, Suppressing and Weakening them while also making them Volatile in their own right.
There are two shots per Super and three shots when the Orpheus Rig is used.
Base direct hit damage per arrow has been lowered from 250 to 125, and extra damage against tethered targets has been reduced from 5x to 1.2x.
In order to compensate, basic damage scalars against PVE fighters have been increased, with a significant portion of the tethered target extra damage being redirected back into base impact damage in PVE.
This boost fluctuates depending on the kind and rank of combatant, but in terms of overall damage, it is typically within the same damage profile as the preceding Moebius Quiver.
All Shadowshot versions are included.
On direct hit, the target is now suppressed more rapidly and reliably than before.
The collision size of the Shadowshot projectile has been somewhat reduced in order to lessen the number of occasions when it gets snagged on doorframes during close proximity activation.
While casting Shadowshot, the player’s maximum momentum has been reduced:
The aircraft’s in-flight speed was lowered from 5.5m/s to 3m/s.
Speed on the ground has been lowered from 8.5m/s to 5.5m/s.
In theory, this should limit the amount of situations in which players are sent over cliff faces, into the vicinity of monster stomping grounds, or beyond the known universe when shooting their Shadowshot arrows.
When a Shadowshot arrow collided with a Barrier Champion’s shield, it would cause the shield to be instantly deleted. This has been resolved.
The Corrosive Smoke ability, as well as the Heart of the Pack boost behavior, have been deprecated.
Snare Drum (also known as a Snare Bomb)
Nightstalker’s default melee ability is now available.
On explosion, foes are now significantly weakened.
After the hit, the radar ping length was lowered to 5 seconds.
Smoke Bomb that dissipates
As a stand-alone melee ability, it is no longer recommended.
As long as you have the Trapper’s Ambush Aspect equipped, your Snare Bomb will render all surrounding friends Invisible if it hits a surface or an opponent.
Silence and Squall are two words that come to mind.
If a boss or Champion target moves out of the Squall region, the Squall now follows them. The Squall will try to locate and travel toward a new target if the boss or Champion is killed.
ARCSTRIDER
The cooldown duration for Arc Staff has been reduced from tier 3 to tier 2.
Titan modifications in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1
SENTINEL
Warden of the Dawn
In recharge tier 5, there is now a solo Super (fastest recharge tier).
The outgoing damage boost for Weapons of Light has been lowered from 35 percent to 25 percent.
Damage from Kinetic weapons may now be dealt to the Ward of Dawn by the enemy.
As a consequence of being disconnected from the Sentinel Shield activator, the spell may now be performed significantly more swiftly.
Sentinel Shield is an acronym that stands for Sentinel Shield.
Small shield block behavior that has been deprecated.
In addition to having a high guard size, Banner Shield now creates Orbs of Power when it blocks damage, is shot through by teammates, and offers a weapon damage boost to allied players behind the caster while guarding. Banner Shield is the new default behavior for Sentinel Shield.
Bash the Shields
On kill, the player now receives a Void Overshield.
The melee abilities Tactical Strike and Defensive Strike, as well as the Turn the Tide subclass passive bonus, have been deprecated.
A new ranged melee ability has been added:
Shield Toss – Toss your Sentinel Shield into the air, and it will bounce amongst opponents nearby. Shield Toss does damage and provides a small amount of Void Overshield on each hit.
SUNBREAKER
Sunspots
Inflicting damage on players has been lowered from 250hp/s to 75hp/s.
This projectile melee no longer behaves as if it were a physical melee due to a bug that was fixed.
STRIKER
The cooldown period for Fists of Havoc has been reduced from tier 1 to tier 2.
BEHEMOTH
When moving from tier 1 to tier 2, the cooldown duration for Glacial Quake was reduced.
After hitting an allied Ward of Dawn, Glacial Quake ground follows (which form the three lines of crystals) will now stop prematurely rather than after hitting the ground.
Warlock modifications in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1
VOIDWALKER
Nova Bomb is an acronym that stands for “nova bombing” or “nova bombing.”
Nova Bomb has been divided into two distinct variants: Vortex and Cataclysm.
Vortex is a nova bomb that explodes in a vortex.
When an enemy is hit, it is now drawn into the lingering damage zone, causing them to die.
The Nova Bomb is a cataclysmic event.
Increased travel speed by around 30%.
A small delay before Nova Bomb seekers spawn has been added in order to lessen the likelihood of their being trapped in the explosion region and being killed prematurely.
When you fire your own Nova Bomb, the damage dealt by the caster is reduced.
An earlier version of this article said that a scalar boosted the damage you inflicted to your own Nova Bomb by 1000x; this has been adjusted to 4x.
This is meant to lessen the likelihood of accidently damaging your Nova Bomb while it is in flight after launching it at a hostile boss.
The Entropic Pull, Devour, and Atomic Breach melee abilities, as well as the Dark Matter subclass passive bonus, have been deprecated.
A new ranged melee ability has been added:
Pocket Singularity is a term that refers to a singularity that is contained inside a pocket.
Deploy an unstable ball of Void energy that detonates when it comes within range of an adversary, driving them away from the explosion and rendering them Volatile in the process.
Supernova on a Handheld Device
When the target is struck, it becomes Volatile.
When Magnetic Grenade is worn, it may now be accessible via the Chaos Accelerant Aspect.
SHADEBINDER
The cooldown duration for Winter’s Wrath has been reduced from tier 1 to tier 2.
DAWNBLADE
The cooldown duration for daybreak has been raised from tier 2 to tier 1.
The 4.0.0.1 update for Destiny 2 introduces Void Aspects and Fragments.

STRENGTH AND PROGRESSIVENESS
The number of unlocks for the Seasonal Artifact has been increased from 12 to 14. The ability to unlock artifact modifications will continue to be available to players throughout the Season, with the possibility of acquiring all 25 artifact mods.
It has been decided to relocate powerful and Pinnacle gear prizes from Europa to a new location in The Witch Queen.
The following power bands have been upgraded or increased:

1500 is a soft cap (up from 1270)
Strong Capacity: 1550 (up from 1320)
1560 is the hard cap (up from 1330)
[Note: The purchased character boost has been changed to reflect this change and will raise your character’s Power to the new Soft Cap of 1500 points.]
CENTRAL OBJECTIVES
It is decided that the Prismatic Recaster will be taken from service after many months of faithful service on the H.E.L.M.
Rahool in the Tower has successfully met the challenge and is now capable of decoding Umbral engrams.
Season Ppass users will be able to concentrate their gear selections on the vendor for that Season’s season.
Players may channel Umbral engrams into Seasonal gear at the start of the season.
Individual weapons and armor components will need two things in order to be focused: first, you must have previously gathered that gear piece, and second, you must possess the vendor upgrade for weapons or armor.
BOUNTIES AND PURSUIT APPLICATIONS
Players who were trapped with the Broken Blade item from Banshee as a result of an unusual incident with the Lost Lament Exotic quest were able to complete the quest.
Glaives calibration bounties have been updated to be daily and repeatable.
New bounties have been added for the Void condition effect.
Stasis calibration has been included as a bonus.
The XP payouts for Dreaming City bounties have been modified to be the same as those for other bounties of the same kind in the game (repeatable, daily, or weekly).
EMBLEMS
The Spoils of Ishtar symbol can now keep track of the statistics of raids.
SHADERS
It was discovered that duplicate shaders were still being dropped from patrol chests. This was fixed. Powder Blue, I’m referring to you.
CATALYSTS
When completing Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit activities, the following catalysts now have a chance to drop:
Hawkmoon
The Story of a Dead Man
The Scepter of Ager
The Perfected Outbreak
When the Worm Speaks, You Hear It.
The Fourth Horseman (also known as the Fourth Horseman of the Bible)
REWARDS FOR SEASON PASSES
Seasonal armor with a high level of protection has been re-introduced.
Individual pieces are presented to students in the 57th to 87th positions.
Legendary engrams have been replaced by Umbral engrams that are more concentrated.
There were a total of five. Each was devoted to a certain type of armor (arms, legs, chest, class, and head).
Tier 2 engrams are found in all Umbral engrams.
The Season Pass symbol has been gone, but a Season Pass Sparrow has been inserted in its place.
The Season Pass scrounger bonuses (bonuses that boosted the likelihood of Seasonal weapon/armor drops in ritual activities) have been reworked to make them more effective.
Weapon scrounger bonuses are no longer divided into categories based on weapon type and ritual participation. In addition to Season Pass Legendary weaponry, they now apply to all activities at the same time.
Instead of six weapon scrounger bonuses, there are just two.
The first bonus provides the player with a modest opportunity to obtain the weapons by participation in ritual activities. The second bonus increases the likelihood of success.
The overall drop probability has been constant from prior seasons.
The armor scrounger benefits are no longer divided according to whether or not ritual action is performed. It is now applicable to all actions at the same time.
Instead of three armor scrounger bonuses, there is just one.
The overall drop probability for each armor component remains the same as it was for the weapon.
Aside from the insignia, no other goods have been withdrawn from the Season Pass; instead, new ones have been introduced.
It was decided to combine a number of awards, including Glimmer and Legendary Shards, in order to create way for high-stat gear.
Upgrade Modules have been implemented in a limited number of instances.
The sequence in which various prizes are obtained has been adjusted to account for the aforementioned changes.
Platforms and systems have been altered in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1.
Windowed HDR is now supported in Windows 10 (and later versions).
For windowed HDR to work, players must have the in-game HDR option enabled, and Windows 10 must be set such that the option to ‘Use HDR’ is selected for the specified display:
The game will automatically switch between HDR and SDR mode if the window is moved to a monitor that does not support HDR while playing Destiny in windowed high dynamic range (HDR).
For all players (SDR or HDR) who use the program OBS on Windows 10 (and above) and want to capture video, make sure the ‘Capture Method’ is set to ‘Windows Graphics Capture’ else the video will be captured with a black screen shown. It is still possible to use the BitBlt option in Windows versions prior to Windows 7.
When compared to exclusive fullscreen, windowed fullscreen should deliver the same (or better) performance on Windows 10 (and later versions).
On Windows 10, the DXGI flip model is now used by Destiny in the background (and up). There is more information available here.
When playing in High Dynamic Range (HDR) on a PC, screenshots are now supported.
Screenshots must be captured using the screenshot tool available in-game.
Photos taken in high dynamic range (HDR) will be tone-mapped to standard dynamic range (SDR) and saved as lossless PNG files.
Improvements in the calibration of the display (all platforms).
Players in High Dynamic Range (HDR) will see a new calibration UI page where they may alter their settings.
In order to meet the vast diversity of HDR display capabilities and viewing conditions, HDR calibration settings have been changed to provide more user-friendly functionality.
Calibration settings for SDR and HDR are no longer kept account-wide, and prior calibration settings have been reset.
Display calibration settings are now saved by platform, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PS4, PS5, and Stadia. Previously, display calibration settings were kept per device.
When playing in HDR, the brightness settings for SDR displays have no effect on the game.
General changes in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1
The physics knockback for boss stomps has been tweaked. This should result in fewer fatalities as a consequence of being knocked into a stationary item.
Tangled Shore, as well as the Forsaken campaign, have been added to the Destiny Content Vault.
All Wanted foes and Silent Fang objectives from Nessus and the EDZ have been removed from the game.
It is now possible to acquire Petra Venj bounties directly from the Destiny Companion App, without the need for a character to be present on the Dreaming City destination.
Following the conclusion of a Gambit match, several goods that were previously sold by the Drifter or dropped by the Primeval Servitor boss will now have a tiny chance of falling following completion of the battle.
Rare (blue) drops from playlist activity completions will no longer be available to players who have reached the Soft Cap (1500 Power) (Crucible, Gambit, Vanguard).
When a player reaches the Soft Cap, they will have a greater chance of receiving Legendary weapons and armor, as well as a tiny number of Legendary Shards.
Upon logging back in, returning players who do not have a Power weapon equipped will now get a Rocket Launcher assigned to them. Thank you, Lord, for the Light!
Players who accomplish the Twitch Subscription bounties via the Destiny 2 Twitch Extension will now be rewarded with a new symbol in Season 16, thanks to Amanda Holliday.

Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale are now available for purchase at Xûr.
Once a week, he will present a different combination of the two weapons.
Master Rahool now provides a Material Exchange, which will serve as a source for the purchase of Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards in the near future.
Banshee-44 and Ada-1 are now capable of supporting four modifications at the same time (Increased from two).
With the update, Banshee-44 may now take use of the new reputation system that has been implemented by other merchants in the tower like as Shaxx, Zavala, the Drifter, and Saint-14.
Armor and weaponry must be dismantled in order to achieve Gunsmith reputation.
Banshee-44’s Daily Bounties now provide a small amount of Gunsmith reputation upon accomplishment, in addition to a tiny amount of gold.
Depreciation has been applied to Gunsmith Materials, Mod Components, Weapon Telemetry, and Pure Matterglass Lenses, among other things.
Mods that created Weapon Telemetries, such as the following, have been removed:
Arc Analyzer is a tool that measures arcs.
Solar Energy Analyzer
Analyzer of Void
Omni-Telemetry
This is the Banshee Special.
Weapon and armor concentrating are now available in the Drifter.
Engrams from new Gambit engrams may be spent on specialized Drifter equipment, or they can be decrypted by Master Rahool.
Shaw Han is a fictional character created by writer Shaw Han.
A Guardian Rises will no longer give recurring bounties to new characters until they have completed the novel, allowing New Lights to save their precious Glimmer in the process.
Players that acquire the Witch Queen expansion will have access to a new Exotic quest, The Queen Beckons, which can be obtained from Shaw Han.
When the objective is completed, the player will get the Exotic Auto Rifle, Sweet Business.
The Blast from the Past Exotic quest has been relocated to the Variks seller on Europa, where it may now be completed.
Ikora Rey is a fictional character created by author Ikora Rey.
Ikora will now instruct all classes from her vantage point in the Tower Bazaar, where she will demonstrate the Void skills, Aspects, and Fragments that they have yet to unlock on their character.
Each new Void power learnt, however, comes at a cost: huge amounts of reprogrammable matter (Glimmer) and a nearby meditation device to hasten the process are required for each new ability learned.
Characters with a Void subtype who return will have the bulk of their skills activated upon logging into their account for the first time.
All grenades that were not previously available to a certain class prior to the release of The Witch Queen will still need to be learnt from Ikora.
Following the completion of her phase in the A Spark of Hope questline, Ikora will provide missions to new characters in order for them to get their Solar and Arc subclasses.
The arrival of the Witch Queen has been announced! Acquaint yourself with the newest Exotics as well as our most up-to-date leveling guide. There are many items to discover, including the Extraction, Metamorphosis, and Sepulcher locales, as well as the Resonant Splinter Heroic. A new dungeon, Strange Coins, and new Exotics were added as part of the Bungie 30th Anniversary update, which includes the Gjallarhorn and Forerunner, among other things.
New Light adjustments have been included in the Destiny 2 update 4.0.0.1.
Changes made in conjunction with Void 3.0 include:
The reworked Void 3.0 subclass will be the default starting class for all new characters, regardless of their class.
Quests for the Solar and Arc subclasses are still available for all classes, and they may be unlocked for any class. Once you’ve completed the A Guardian Rises questline and spoken with Ikora Rey during the A Spark of Hope quest, you’ll be able to access these additional missions.
For the first time, new characters will have Void subclass abilities that are designed to be more welcoming and enticing to novice players. By conversing with Ikora in the Tower, you may be able to get access to more skills.
Hunter:
Moebius Quiver is a super ability.
Marksman’s Dodge is a class ability.
Triple jump is a movement ability.
Snare Bomb is a charged melee attack.
Scatter Grenade (also known as Void Grenade)

There is no way to complete this task unless you are a new character or an existing character who has not yet completed the Schism objective in the A Guardian Rises questline.
To finish the A Guardian Rises questline, you do not need to complete this quest.
The questline for A Guardian Rises
There is no longer a need for players to buy a bounty from Shaw Han as part of the Sacrifice questline phase two.
It is no longer necessary to complete a bounty in order to continue through the Seek and Destroy questline stage.
In the Welcoming Committee questline step, in which players first encounter Ikora, there is a new VO introduction performance for her character, which is now available to see.
The questline for A Spark of Hope
In order to go further in the questline, Zavala will instruct players to complete the first task of the Witch Queen campaign rather than the previous mission of Beyond Light.
The Cosmodrome is the final destination.
In order to enable New Lights ascend from The Divide into the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector, a hazardous but functional trail has been pieced together using welding wire.
Players on the Guardian Rises task would not be able to view the Ketch fly-by performance in The Divide if another player on the same mission was already there. This problem has been rectified.
Destination in Europe
Europa has been included in the XP-based unlock sequence for New Light gamers, which now includes the continent.
Localization modifications have been made in the Destiny 2 version 4.0.0.1.

Vow of the Disciple Raid boost, boosting and carries of the end cutscene images
Upon closer inspection of the photographs, it seems to depict a Scorn-like monster both entering the planet and engaging in combat with a group of Guardians. This will most likely happen shortly after you beat it in combat, and there will be follow-up visuals to illustrate what occurs beyond that point.
Raulk, the first Disciple, and the last monster of the Raid itself have been said to be the name of this terrifying person, according to certain reports. This is consistent with all of the narrative beats we’ve received so far, and it definitely corresponds with the complete 3D generated picture that we previously reported on as well.
While there have been reports of a complete end sequence from Vow of the Disciple hitting the rounds, we haven’t been able to confirm this at the time of writing. Although these photographs have been obtained, they include significant spoilers, particularly if you’re an avid loremonger and are aware of what this towering beast represents in terms of the story’s progression.
Given that the whole Raid is set to be released in less than a week, we’ll be able to gain more clarity on everything soon enough. In the meanwhile, we can all speculate on how beating Raulk will have more ramifications in the future Lightfall expansion.
